Apartments
The complex has 102 individual apartments, each of them with a surface of 36 square meters aproximately, and its own bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with base and wall cupboards, two elements hob, extractor fan, fridge and microwave-grill.

Bathroom

The bathrooms are equipped with shower and various accessories (mirror, toilet roll holders and towel).

Furniture
The house is furnished with a large table, two chairs, a bookshelf, a wardrobe, a desk, a nightstand, and a bed.

COMMON SERVICES
The Residence offers the following shared services for all residents and they are included in the basic rate:

» A representative and coordinator of the Residence’s operations during full-time working hours. Therefore, personalized attention to residents is provided, as well as continuous coordination between students, parents, and the company.

» Study rooms and group work areas: each group of six apartments has a shared space to socialize, study, or carry out group work.

» Study rooms on the ground floor of Block Y where students can study all night without time limits.

» "Eduardo Galeano" Library created by the residents themselves.

» Recreation or relaxation room on the ground floor of Block Y, with a large-format television and sofas.

» Games room on the ground floor of Block X: a leisure space with ping-pong tables, foosball tables, billiards, etc., free and exclusively for residents.

» Cinema room: a space where students can watch films in cinema format and organize film series and film forums.

» Music rehearsal room in the outdoor area of Block Y: students can bring their instruments and rehearse in this room, as well as be part of the Residence’s music group.

» Solarium area on the terrace of Block X. On the same terrace there is a picnic area with tables and a barbecue.

» Internet connection via Wi-Fi throughout the building, including the apartments.

» Heating throughout the building.

» Comprehensive insurance for the building and apartments, including students’ liability coverage.

» Cleaning of common areas and building maintenance.

» Gym on the ground floor of Block X: with fitness, crossfit and pilates machines for the exclusive use of residents.
» Slaundry room with washing machines and ironing facilities.
» Surveillance system for entrances and ground floors using security cameras.

OPTIONAL SERVICES
Visoren Campus also offers the following optional services (not included in the basic rate):

+ Com puc fer la reserva?

The reservation of the spot will be made through the website or via email at gestion@visoren.es. It will also be possible to make the reservation "on-site" at the Residence during the visit. Spots will be assigned in order of registration, and once they are filled, a waiting list will be opened. For any questions regarding the reservation, you can contact Visoren via email at gestion@visoren.es.

+ Which is the contract period?

The agreement lasts 12 months, from the 1rts of September to the 31th of August. This period of 12 months is compulsory. In case to leave the house during the course, you will have to credit the whole of the 12 months.

+ When will the contract be signed?

The lease will be signed at the time of the entrance to the apartment. Shall also be provided a copy of ID and proof of having paid the deposit in the bank.

+ A deposit must be provided?

At the time of reservation through the website, you must post the deposit corresponding to two months rent. This deposit will be returned upon completion of stay at the apartment and once performed the relevant settlement. The deposit is a security deposit. When the student permanently leaves the apartment, an inventory is made and the status of the apartment is checked. The costs for the damages in the apartment and the settlement incurred are deducted from the deposit. The deposit is returned the next month after having left the apartment.

+ How will the setllement be done?

The settlement will be done by a responsable of Visoren Campus in the presence of the student. The review results in a liquidation of the security deposit consisting of the costs incurred when leaving the property and includes the following: - Hours of cleaning needed to leave the apartment prepared for the arrival of a new occupant. If leaving the apartment clean, will not be charged for this item. - Restore missing or damaged items. - Paint the walls in case the student has left them in bad condition. - Other actions to be taken to leave the property as the student found when entered into it. - Adjustment of the consumption of water, electricity, air conditioning and ACS. In case the monye is for the student, it will be refunded, and if it is for Visoren Campus, it will be deducted from the deposit.

+ If I'm not a student of the University with Partnership, can I be admitted in an apartment?

Initially apartments are reserved for students of partner universities, but it depends on demand. If it fails to fill the apartments with students from UPV Gandia, other groups will be input.

+ May I choose the apartment?

All homes are 36 square meters and are for individual use, it only changes their orientation. The allocation of apartments corresponds to Visoren Campus, but we'll hear student's request. For subsequent years, if you are already a resident, you may maintain the same apartment. In any case, the allocation of apartments depends on Visoren Campus.

+ Does Visoren Campus clean the apartments?

This is an optional service to hire at the start or during the course, through the head of the complex. In the rates section you can see the prevailing prices. The cleaning does not include the kitchen nor windows.

+ Which telecom services do the apartments have?

The apartment has a TV antenna and wi-fi. Apartments have no landline.

+ Is there a waste disposal service?

Each resident must take their garbage to the containers on the street daily. Each apartment has dustbins needed to separate the trash.

+ Is the complex open all the year?

Yes, the contract will be valid for twelve months and the services are offered throughout the course, from September 1th to August 31th.

+ Can a friend come to my apartment?

Yes, there is no objection to bring a friend to study or spend the day inside your apartment.

+ Can you enter and go out at any time?

Yes, the complex is open 24 hours and each student has his own key, so that the entry and exit are free.

+ How do we pay the monthly fees?

The payment of the monthly bill will be through direct debit between the 1st and 5th of each month.

+ Does the complex have its own parking?

Yes, we have our own and exclusive parking for residents in which you can park your car or motorcycle. The cost of this service can be consulted in the optional rates in the tab of prices.

+ Is it near the University?

Yes, it is located just in front of the UPV of Gandia, at 50 meters.

+ Are there services near the Residence?

Yes, the residence is located in an area where you can find supermarkets, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, gym... in 100 meters... and the Gandia beach at 200 meters.

+ Parents have got direct contact with the Residence?

Yes, through the Head of the Residence, which parents and residents have contact details. Except for emergencies, the working hours of the Head of the Residence, which are Monday to Thursday from 9h to 14h and from 15h to 18h, Friday from 9h to 14h.

+ Can I bring my own furniture or appliances?

Sí, pots portar mobles, electrodomèstics,.. pots decorar el teu habitatge al teu gust. Si bé, al marxar de l'habitatge, s'haurà de deixar en les mateixes condicions què vas trobar a l'entrar-hi. Si vols posar-hi cortines, hauràs de parlar amb Visoren Campus perquè te'n diguin el model. Yes, you can bring furniture, appliances ... you can decorate your apartment to your liking. However, to leave the property, it must be in the same condition as you found it upon entering. If you want to put curtains, you should apply to Visoren Campus to define the curtain model.

+ How does the music rehearsal room work?

This room is managed by the students themselves. You just bring your instrument, the desire to learn and, and you can join other existing groups or make a new one next to the rest of the residents.

+ Do you organize activities at the residence?

Yes , throughout the year we performing different cultural, social and fun activities that help residents to socialize and integrate into the community of Visoren Campus. The activities and festivals that take place are as follows, although they may have some variation depending on each year: - Intercultural Day Gourmet : Performed in the early going. Each student cooks a dish of his land and takes it to a dinner in which residents get to know. - Halloween Party : Residents dress up and decorate the residence with motifs of Halloween and award prizes for the best costumes and best decorated common areas. The night ends with a dinner at the same residence. - Christmas Party : A few days before the students move to their houses, we organize an invisible friend event in which each student receives his gift of another resident and then we have a Christmas dinner. - Valentine's day : A treasure hunt in which all residents participate in a dinner and ends with prizes for the winners of the treasure hunt. - Mini World foosball and ping- pong: One Sunday in March we celebrate this championship where all residents can take part. Throughout the day, the games are played until we reach the finals in the evening. There are awards for the winners and we finish with a "typical Spanish potato omelette" competition. - Visoren Fest : On May 1 this holiday is celebrated on the outside of the residence. All day activities such as theater, dance classes, monologues, concerts and DJs are happening, involving the residents themselves and the rest of the university community. - Prom Dinner : It takes place during the month of June and ends the academic year for the residents. For some students its a farewell and for others, just a "See you next year".

+ Are there community rules?

Yes, if it is true that residents enjoy complete freedom as the free exit and entry of the residence, and the organization of their daily life and their studies, there are some basic rules of coexistence and respect for the Head of Visoren Campus and the other residents. If breached can lead from simple punishment of warning to expulsion in very severe cases.

+ Can I visit the residence?

Yes, in order to carry out a guided tour of the Residence you must request in advance by email to gestion@visoren.es and later we will confirm you the visit. In addition, there are the days of visits that are organized every year in the month of April and May and that you can consult in the web of the university.
